Whilst Scissett Youth Band may have given what all thought was its last performance
in December 2014, we’re delighted to announce that it has re-formed and is rehearsing
once again.
Scissett Youth Band
The SYB2015 Steering Group is excited to announce that a new SYB has now been established and rehearsals take place at our venue in the Methodist Church, Shelley each Thursday evening at 1930.
SYB is an exciting, vibrant and contemporary take on the brass band. It’s a fusion of big band and more traditional brass styles offering opportunities for brass, percussion and woodwind under the dynamic leadership of our new MD, Johnny Beevers.
